Welcoming New Beginnings for Mothers in Placement

At Purposely Chosen, we believe every young mother deserves to be celebrated and supported as she prepares to welcome her child.

Our Baby Shower Program is provided for pregnant youth currently residing in our Born for Nia Maternity Home, our licensed STRTP residential program serving displaced pregnant and parenting adolescents in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

Each baby shower creates a meaningful moment of encouragement for our residents while ensuring they are equipped with the essential items needed to safely welcome their newborn.

Through the generosity of volunteers and community supporters, each shower provides new mothers with essential infant supplies. Beyond the supplies, these celebrations create a supportive environment where young mothers are reminded that they are not alone as they prepare for parenthood.
