A Safe Haven for Teen Mothers
The Born for Nia Maternity Home is our licensed STRTP (Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program) providing specialized therapeutic maternity care for displaced, pregnant, and parenting youth ages 13-21 in San Bernardino County.
Our maternity home offers a nurturing, trauma-informed environment with clinical oversight where young mothers can focus on their health, their babies, and building the life skills needed for long-term success.
Residents receive 24/7 support, case management, parenting education, life skills training, and connections to healthcare and community resources—all while living in a safe, home-like setting.

Program statement for the Born for Nia Maternity Home was signed, sealed and delivered to Riverside County.
December 22, 2011
Riverside County asked for revisions to be made to the program statement.
January 3, 2012
Revisions were made to the program statement and resubmitted to Riverside County.
